On the initiative of the CCI of Caen and the CCI of the Pays d'Auge in conjunction with Calvados Departmental Tourist Board and with the backing of Calvados County Council, tourist trade professionals have set up the Calvados Accueil network.

Hotels, restaurants, camp sites, gîtes, sights, leisure activities, tourist offices and “pays d'accueil” all share this resolve to give you a warm welcome and tell you all about what to see and do in the Calvados.

Beyond these professions, other service providers working to building up the tourist trade, along with training centres, are members of the Calvados Accueil network.

The Club Terroir will provide you with over 120 addresses of good places to enjoy our local produce and seafood with the benefit of our restaurants’ knowhow. Lastly, to date, 449 members of the Calvados Accueil network have decided to commit themselves to the Normandie Qualité Tourisme initiative. These establishments are monitored on a regular basis by specialists using a checklist of over 250 criteria.
